1.1 The Basics
You'd do damn well to remember that the Cbox is only up as a means of communication and entertainment for members; it's a privilege, and a convenience. It makes things easy for new members, because they can utilize it to say hello and interact with senior members by asking questions if they have concerns before joining.
I pay for Premium Chatbox; it may only be two dollars a month, but it's money out of my bank account Though I no longer have the funds to keep up the premium Chatbox, it doesn't mean I've become lax with my policies pertaining to its use. You may, or may not, know that, since I am the Cbox admin, I also have the ability to ban IP addresses over the Cbox settings. It won't take any skin off my nose to kick your sorry ass off the Chatbox and site altogether; I've done it before, trust me.
As long as everyone remembers who's in charge and what'll happen, we won't have problems.

1.2 Behavior
This site is mature, and content in the Cbox may also be considered mature; I don't want to hear complaints about someone dropping the f-bomb, nor swearing, unless those words are being directed at you, or a friend, in a manner meant to hurt. I've removed the censors from the box, as well as smiley emoticons, so those should be no problem whatsoever.
The chatbox, like I stated above, is a privilege and a luxury. The fact that it's positioned in the Global Header means it's available on any page of the site, giving you ease of access and use; don't freaking abuse it, or I'll be on your ass like flies on dog shit. You can chatplay all you want, talk about fun stuff you've done in real life, or just plain out act like a delirious idiot [please don't, though]. Alli and I don't appreciate rude lurkers, nor people who sneak into the box only to insult the site.
As you may have noticed, the chatbox requires a username and a login before you're allowed to post; this is a safety feature to avoid impersonation. If need be, I'll close registration; this'll result in the cbox allowing only registered usernames to post in it. I don't want to do that, but I will if I need to.
If impersonation becomes an issue, I will take measures appropriate for the situation. Thankfully it hasn't happened so far, and hopefully never will.
As I've already stated in general rules of conduct, out-of-character conversations shouldn't include slandering someone's beliefs, opinions, life style, nor orientation. You should already realize that conversations concerning religion, politics, racial matters, etc. should not be going on inside the chatbox; I will remove such messages if they pop up.
