1.1 Power to the people
Being a moderator or global moderator [or god-moderator, as some have come to call them], doesn't mean anything more or less then that you have a fancy title and the privilege and power to respond to threads, offer some sort of guidance on the site, and keep order if a fight breaks out. Mods and GMods both report to the higher authority, the Admins, and the Admins report to the owner and co-owner, moreso known as the Head Admins; those would be yours truly and my Alli. <33
If you've got a problem, do not, and I repeat, do not hesitate to come directly to Alli and me; whether it's a minor question regarding to site content, a nudge to remind us of something we've promised to do, or simply a plea to stop a bully in their tracks, we're here for you. Complaints and problems will be duly noted and dealt with in the best manner possible; don't bitch and whine about how fast or slow we take your problem into account, or you'll be the one in trouble as well!
The basic rule here is to respect your superiors; members answer to all mods and admins, and mods&global mods to admins, and all three groups to the head admins, a.k.a Alli and myself. If you have an issue with the rules, sorry; we're not going to bend them for you. You should already know that, as this is my second reincarnation of Kairuu, third in number overall, I'm very strict about my policies here, and how things are run. If you don't like it, tough.
I'm fairly picky about my moderators and choosing them; a lot of disappointments have been shoved at me, be they my friends or not [and I say this with no malice in my tones], so I am going to be very strict about whom I allow to become a Moderator. You should already know basic hierarchy, and if you don't, do not bother trying to become a Mod. I'm not going to spend time spelling it out for you.
If you do manage to become selected as a Moderator, joygasm for you; your duties are expected to be fulfilled, just as promised. If you can't deal with the workload, don't apply to become a Mod. If you're feeling the pressure during Modship and don't wish to be one of the staff any longer, it's as simple as dropping me or Alli a note explaining why you want to quit. Don't just start ignoring your duties and leave us contemplating whether or not you've quit or are just being lazy.

1.2 The duties of the dedicated few
So you want to become part of the staff; good. You're either ambitious or bored, or maybe even both. All that matters to me is that you're a hard and willing worker, and possess the necessary skill to make decently lengthy posts for the thread you're moderating.
- Moderators have the power to moderate Lab threads, Route threads, Other Area threads, the Adoption Center, make Wild Pok?mon appear for trainers, utilize NPC trainers on Routes, and keep a note of Breeding Center threads. Their modification powers are limited to bumping, stickying, moving, modifying posts, locking, and viewing poll voters.
- Global Moderators are a step up from regular Mods, and their duties are shared with Moderators, though they also have the power to delete threads and posts, reply to locked threads, and deduct-add quid, as well as modify member profiles. Anyone seen abusing the former two powers will be immediately demoted.
- Admins are in charge of the site itself; keeping up with updates, making sure no board or thread is glitched or outdated, posting plot information, along with the general moderator's duties. The only powers they lack are the powers to manage ad-free settings, manage attachments, and the ability to assign a member to a certain group, such as promoting them to Moderator, etc.
- Owner and Co-Owner are both single entities, and will remain that way; as noted earlier, I [Nεαr] am the owner, and Alli is the co-owner. I may act as a moderating entity from time to time, but neither I, nor Alli, are to be relied upon as Moderators. Owner and co-owner are gifted with every ability to modify this site, therefore making us the unquestioned 'Gods'. We're not that scary, don't worry.

1.3 Distribution of payments
Obviously, when a member becomes part of the staff, they receive a nice little bonus in the form of Quid; allowances are also going to be distributed according to the amount of posts a Moderator makes every week. Diligent, hardworking mods will naturally receive more money than those who don't make an effort to work for what they signed up for. For now, the promotion prices are listed below, according to rise in ranks.
[/b], they receive a promotion amount of 250,000q; when a moderator becomes a Global Moderator, they receive a promotion amount of 500,000q; when a global moderator becomes an Admin, they receive a promotion amount of 2,000,000q. [/ul][/ul] That's as high as promotions will ever reach. Naturally, Admins have a basic unlimited amount of money, purely for reasons pertaining to the site, such as monetary rewards, prize breedings, and lotteries. Very little of that money is used for personal purchases, and if you have a problem with this, do come forward and speak to us about it, though I do not guarantee we'll comply with your demands to change the way we run things.
