So different members may host their own types of games and such (though they must be approved), but there is a list of the general types of games that will be officially hosted. So, here are the rules.
Kairuu Lottery occurrence: winning numbers posted weekly when: Sunday price: 1,000q per auto-ticket; 3,000q per self-ticket prize: minimum 200k jackpot; jackpot increases with ticket sales. 1. All ticket fees go towards the Jackpot money pool, as well as fees from certain other official games. 2. Tickets are only valid for their week of purchase. A week lasts from the Sunday (afte the previous week's numbers are posted) to the following Sunday (before the numbers are posted). Any tickets purchased after Sunday numbers are posted will count towards the new week. 3. The Jackpot will always have a minimum prize pool of 200k; money will not be taken out of it unless someone wins the Jackpot. 4. Each ticket will have 9 numbers.
Raffles occurrence: bi-monthly when: 1st - 13th, prizes awarded on the 14th; 15th - second to last day of the month, prizes awarded the last day. price: 100q per ticket. prize: varies. 1. There is no limit to how many tickets can be purchased by the end date. 2. Tickets must be purchased in sets of 5 (5, 10, 25, 1000, etc.) 3. Ticket numbers are assigned; you may not request your own numbers. 4. Money used to purchase tickets goes towards the Kairuu Lottery Jackpot. 5. Posts after 11:59, past the end date, will not be counted. Ticket purchases are closed on the 14th and last day of the month.
Monthly Incentive Raffle occurrence: monthly when: 2ed to 26th -- prizes awarded the following days. price: ten in-RP character posts = 1 raffle ticket [no quid fee]. prize: sums of quid, items, 1 Pokémon per 10 boxes; any single or combination of the above. 1. Each 2ed of the month, the new thread will go up. Every member participating may make one post per thread; in that post they must record each of their characters' total RP post counts (totals should be kept separate, each character should have a "subtotal" count, and each post must have an active "total"). *Only characters that have been accepted may participate. 2. The day the contest ends, each person will be assigned raffle tickets with random numbers--1 to however many have been earned; every 10 posts a member makes will award them 1 ticket. After the tickets have been assigned, the raffle will be drawn until all tickets have been picked. The order they are picked in will determine who picks. *example: Person A earned 3 raffle tickets. Their tickets were numbered 1, 3, and 7. Ticket 3 got drawn 1st--they get first pick of the boxes for that ticket. Ticket 1 was drawn 5th, they get 5th pick from the boxes for that ticket. Ticket 1 was drawn last, so they get last pick from the boxes (at that point, box, being the last box) for that ticket. 3. Once the numbers have been given out, the boxes will be posted along with the choosing order. Members will post in that order which box they would like to take--each box may only be chosen once. If a member has more than one ticket, they must make separate posts for each ticket unless the ticket numbers were drawn to choose next to each other (meaning, if they got drawn for 3ed and 4th pick, they can post that in a single post). *Prizes may be distributed to or amongst any character the player owns. **A Pokémon is a rare prize in a box; only 1 Pokémon will show up for every 10 boxes, and the rarity is usually common but may occasionally be uncommon, or even rare. So if there are 9 boxes, there will be no Pok?mon; 10 = 1 Pok?mon, 19 = 1 Pok?mon, 20 = 2 Pok?mon, and so forth. This is also how your posts are calculated for tickets. ***If too many boxes are being created per raffle, the required number of posts for a single ticket will go up. There will be as many boxes per month as there are tickets. ****Only in-RP posts count. Main-area RPs always count. Other-area RPs only count if they are actually RPs--shopping, adoption agencies, breeding, and all others that are not major RPs do not count. The Safari Game does not count, but exploring the Safari area does.
Trivia occurrence: daily when: generally, 6am to 11:59pm; some may have set time schedules price: free 1. A new trivia question will be posted daily; in that post, those who got the previous trivia question correct will be stated. Each trivia question may have it's own time allotted, but typically it will be from 6am to 11:59 pm. 2. In the event that no one was able to add a new trivia, that day, the next day's trivia prize pool will be modified to include better prizes for winners. 3. We're not dumb. We'll disqualify anyone we think has cheated or anything like that. Also, do not edit your posts; any posts edited by you will be disqualified from that round. 4. Prizes are awarded on Mondays. You get 1 point for each trivia question you get right in the previous week, up to a total of 7 points. Each (1/7, 2/7, 3/7, etc.) all get different rewards. 5. The prizes for 2/7, 6/7 and 7/7 are changed weekly; they are not "you can request anything falling under this category", they are preset.
Different types of games may also appear, such as Quizzes, various user-held contests. All official contests will have [O] in them. Those official contests will be held rigidly to these rules. Only staff may hold official contests.
