Name"Cyril Windsor... Call me Cy." Pronounced SEER-eel... His middle name is Blankytné, but he rarely gives it out- his middle name is derived from the Celtic name for his home town. Gender"..." He's male. =) If you didn't catch on by the picture, or his name. Age "I'm nineteen." Hometown"I was born in Cerulean City... That doesn't mean I like blue... or Water Pokémon... or caves..." Career"… I'd like to catch and train Pokémon... I guess I have enough leadership qualities to manage." Sexuality"That's private, don't you think?" ...For right now, he isn't up for telling anyone, and if you ask me, I'm fairly sure he doesn't have any specific preferences just yet. (;
Personality"I don't say more than I need too.. That is, I don’t have much to say." Cy is what most people would call a quiet type. He doesn't say much more than he needs to, and sticks to saying as little as possible to get the point across. On the other hand, he makes sure that he's as clear as crystal when he does speak. Despite his quiet tendencies, he has a habit of sticking random "I guess"s, "I think"s and "I suppose"s into his sentences. He tries to catch himself with that, however, so he doesn't say them every sentence. He prefers his sentences short and sweet, as well as confident... It's a work in progress. Obviously, Cy isn’t a conversationalist. He's not all that good at carrying on a conversation; he doesn't think there's a need for small talk. Though he doesn't mind being asked questions, he doesn't like having to give a speech in response. If the question is deemed unimportant to him, he’s likely not to answer it. Of course, people have been known to push questions on him; if he’s forced to answer a question he’ll give a one word answer, generally. When being asked multiple questions, especially by someone who seems to have a bit of humor, he'll stick in a fleck of sarcasm followed by a concrete answer. This doesn't happen too often, especially when he's around serious people...
“My mother told me once that I had “a flame of leadership” in me. I don’t know how true that is… But.”Among other things, Cy gets things done, has decent morals, and he’s willing to listen. Cy’s surprisingly straight forward attitude lets him focus on his task, find a solution, and carry through with his plan. He always gets straight to the point if he can. He hates dodging around things in conversations, as they tend to confuse other people and just basically end up making people more suspicious of him. He gets straight to the point, so as little questions are asked as possible. He doesn’t waste time talk about problems, and generally tries to sort them out as soon as possible. Instead of spending a lot of time discussing the issue at hand, he’ll sort out the best ideas in his head to fix the problems. Speaking of problems, when it comes to conflicts, Cy will often listen to all sides of a story before he decides how he stands on it. This translates into more than just problem solving for Cy. On a personal level, he is reliable and doesn’t dabble on the details. He’s not one to complain about what’s happening to him. He always tends to sort out problems by himself. He keeps to himself more often than not- if he has a problem then it’s his and only his to deal with. Also, he rarely trusts others with his secrets and personal information. Although he doesn’t confide himself in others, people can confide in him if they need to. He’s a good listener since he doesn’t talk often. (He’ll never interrupt.) He doesn’t mind anyone babbling away at his ear, they just better expect him not to give them much feed back. If anyone ever needs to get something off of their chest, he’s the person to go to. As a plus, he’s great at keeping secrets.
Description “…” Assuming you have eyes and can see, it’s unlikely that Cy will explain what he actually looks like. I’ll suppose he should think you’re blind.- for the sake of this, hmn?
“Well… I have black hair.” His hair is always cut about the same place- right around his ear lobe, his bangs cut shorter than his bangs. However, currently they’ve had the chance to grow. He was going to get a haircut before he left, but completely forgot about it. Although his hair is what he calls “black” in the light sometimes it appears a dark brown. He’s positive it’s black though, and may correct you once if you get it wrong. He tries to keep his hair brushed neatly, but it’s a bit hard for him to tame. Not to mention he’s always on the move now, so it’s bound to get messy. He cares a bit about his hair- but to be honest he’s not obsessed with fashion. He cares more about how well something works- he’d rather have something that’s comfy rather than nice. Once his bangs start getting in his eyes, he’ll probably start asking random strangers if they have a blade or something to cut them.
“My eyes are brown.” Inherited from his mother- like his hair-, his dark, chestnut-shaded eyes show plenty of expression. They aren’t anything really special, and if anyone said they liked them he could probably care less. Still, he’s glad he didn’t get his father’s blue eyes. His eyebrows are thin, black in color. Although he has the ‘coloring’ of his mother, his facial features themselves are actually a lot more like his father’s face. He has a rather small, pointed nose, not to mention his ears which are on the large side, his earlobes are strangely attached rather than commonly detached.
“Uh, I don’t really know… I’m about five ten, five eleven… Somewhere just under six feet, I think.” Standing at roughly 5 feet, 10 and a quarter inches, (5’10¼”) Cy isn’t insanely tall- in fact he’s more or less average. His torso is a bit long, oddly, while his legs are a bit shorter than normal- not that it makes a difference, his proportions are just “off” a bit. He weighs 153 pounds; he isn’t horribly skinny. Basically a good summary of Cy would be to call him “average”. He’s pretty fit, but doesn’t have any actual strength to speak of. It’s not like he goes out to the gym and trains. However, he’s pretty fast for someone who wasn’t on the track team or anything, and he has decent endurance. His hands are rather gentle, and not too large or small, like the rest of him.
“I generally wear this blue jacket of mine.” In case you haven’t noticed, Cyril doesn’t like the color blue. Why he wears this light blue jacket is generally a mystery- he could get a new one if he didn’t want to be cold. He still continues to wear it, despite it all. The sky blue jacket has no hood, white stripes down each side, and around the sleeves in two rings and the end of jacket around his waist. Classic Pokéball markings dot his shoulders. The jacket has a silver zipper which sometimes jams at the bottom. Cy also generally wears jeans, and under his shirt is a plain white shirt. The shoes he wears are black sneakers, although he also owns blue converse shoes, courtesy of his own father. He doesn’t like to wear them though, but keeps them with him just incase his current shoes get lost or ruined somehow. He wears white socks, and I’m not going to go any father on his clothing apparel. (; You’re likely to see a little, curious and alert Vulpix tromping around his feet at all times, too.
History”My story? There’s not that much to tell…” Cy doesn’t like to share much about his past; it’s not really anyone’s business. If he does feel like he should tell you about it, he obviously trusts and likes you.
Let’s start with his father: A young, dashing blonde man, with bright, friendly blue eyes and a love for water. He had lived in Cerulean in all his life, and loved it there- for a while he was a trainer at the local gym, with his assortment of water types. Meanwhile, his mother- equally as young, with soft brown eyes and dark, jet black hair, grew up in Pewter. More of a free spirit, the woman became a trainer, and took on the gym challenge in Kanto. After besting her hometown’s gym with a Squirtle, she moved on to Cerulean. It was here that she met Cy’s father-to-be, and they became friends shortly. Both liked water Pokémon, and he wanted to keep in touch to know how much stronger Squirtle was getting. Because she had a Pidgeotto by this point, they decided to keep in touch by sending letters by bird. Although she didn’t win the League or beat the Elite Four, she managed to collect all the badges in Kanto. It was shortly after that she returned to Cerulean City to meet up with her friend again.
Long story short, he ended up proposing to her, and soon Cy was on the way. He was born into the city of blue, with two people who loved every inch of it as parents. They were fine parents, (his father being ecstatic that it was a boy: he could be dressed in blue without being mistaken for the wrong gender even when he was really little.) his childhood was fine- but soon Cyril wasn’t turning out completely content with his life. As he grew into a teenager, he became more and more restless, just like his mother. Though his parents both liked water Pokémon, it seemed that he felt the opposite. Not to mention he was starting to hate the color blue. He didn’t feel the need to tell his parents- well, he didn’t want to disappoint them. For a long time he was stuck in his hometown, working at a local store and saving his money.
When he was fifteen his father gave him a Horsea as his first Pokémon. Cyril and it didn’t exactly bond very well- in fact, he used the little blue seahorse to get a different Pokémon. Although he snuck around his parents to do it (not like it was any of their business) he eventually managed to find someone who was willing to trade. The young girl traded him for a Vulpix- a cute little thing, just a pup at the time. Cyril had never seen a real live Vulpix before, and fell for the little fire-fox’s cuteness. Okay, so he wasn’t really the kind of guy who liked things for being cute… But anything was better than something like a Horsea! He went home to his parents, and answered their questions with a simple, “I traded for her.” He didn’t answer why, and oh boy did his father ask a lot more questions, he just shrugged it off. Him and the Vulpix bonded well, a lot better than his first Pokémon had with him.
Once he turned nineteen, he had finally got together enough money to afford the trip to the Kairuu Region. He had insisted on doing all this on his own with no help from his parents, and although his father didn’t want him to go: they both sympathized. Both his mother and father saw the same adventurous spark in him and his mother had twenty years prior. Although he was sure he was going to hate the boat ride there, he sucked it up. At least he had his Vulpix with him… and he was finally getting away from the desolate city surrounded by mountains and waterways.

yagh. = =; next time, feel free to smack one of us admins; i didn't even realize this was already finished! the only thing you'd need to change at all is making the font size 1 instead of 2; we used to have a code on the old layout that made every piece of text automatically size 1, but it pretty much ruined the pretty formatting some people like putting in their posts/profiles.
that aside, cyril looks just fine; feel free to post his lab and pc.
accepted.
