FULL NAME,
The only name she has ever known is that of Siren. Her given name is actually Sally Marie Hoffman, though she has never recognized it as her own.
NICKNAME,
Call her what you will, but her reaction will depend on how she feels toward you. If she hates you, Siren is likely to lash out at you in a subtle way, perhaps calling you by an embarrassing name or accidentally harming you (all with an innocent smile plastered on her face, of course). If you are one of the few she actually likes, the girl wouldn’t mind at all. In fact, she’d probably find the fact that you're calling her by a nickname rather cute.
SEX,
She is female.
AGE,
Though some claim that she looks much younger, Siren is actually seventeen years of age.
SEXUAL ORIENTATION,
Frankly, she doesn't think about romance. Ever. She doesn't understand it and isn't too keen on trying to any time soon. If she was forced to choose, she'd probably say bisexual simply out of indecision. However, it's unlikely that she'll take to someone in that way, let alone allow someone to touch her in a sexual manner.
ETHNICITY,
Siren's mother was almost fully Italian, while her father is more of a Caucasian mutt.
BIRTHDAY,
Siren is actually unaware of her true date of birth. It wasn’t as if her father cared to keep track of the days, after all. So she considers the first date she consciously remembers, October thirteenth, as her “birthday.” The girl doesn’t find much significance in birthdays, and doesn’t celebrate hers much, if at all.
BIRTHPLACE,
Though born in Pyrite Town, deep within the mass of sand known as the Orre Region, Siren's early years were spent somewhere in Orre wilderness. She holds no sentimental attachment to either place, and is rather happy that she'll probably never see them again.
APPEARANCE,
Siren is an easily distractible, capricious creature, fickle in her emotions and thoughts, light-footed and airy in her every movement. It is almost surreal, watching her. But it is surreal in an utterly creepy way, one bound to raise hackles wherever she goes. She does not notice that she has this effect on others. Her body, her movements, everything that she does simply exude a strange aura, one filled with the deep hatred she harbors within. Though others usually cannot recognize the subject of her hatred, the subconscious easily picks up on the intensity of that abhorrence, and perhaps that is what makes her seem so bizarre to the senses.
CAREER PATH,
The actions that bring her closer to success in Organization Nox are driven more by her whims than the by desire to rise through the ranks (though her "whims" always seem to lead her forward, in that respect). Of the two options concerning Pokémon within the organization, that of becoming a trainer appeals to her most. There weren't many Pokémon where she came from, and she finds them intriguing. (Her hatred toward the majority of humanity usually does not extend to most Pokémon, though there are some exceptions.)
FAMILY,
Brett Hoffman | father | thirty-nine.
Maria Luciano | mother | deceased/whereabouts unknown.
PERSONALITY,
At first glance, she may seem to be a cheery and carefree thing, all smiles and songs as she drifts whimsically from place to place. But, with barely any additional observation, one is bound to realize that the smiles she wears are twisted, a certain air of malice about them, and that the only songs she sings are haunting tunes, the kind to cause chills and goose bumps.
As innocent as she may seem, Siren is actually quite malevolent in nature, with an intense hatred for mankind as a whole. It is largely subconscious, this loathing toward her fellow man, and directed especially at those who are happy or satisfied with themselves... and even those who are unsatisfied, for that matter. Anyone who does not, to some degree, share her hateful sentiments is at risk of becoming victim to her rancor. She loves to see despair in others, especially her enemies; to see them writhing in pain brings her unparalleled joy.
To those who happen to be unlucky enough to bear the brunt of her spite: prepare for a barrage of animosity. Oh, but it is not open animosity that I speak of. Rather, Siren's methods of expressing her hatred are a bit more subtle – enough so that the denser victims may not recognize that she actually hates their guts. On the very surface, she seems friendly toward her enemies, rarely sending a negative expression in their direction. Any hurtful or embarrassing words, even, are claimed to be accidents, followed by almost genuine apologies. But, if even the tiniest bit perceptive when it comes to the art of socializing (and yes, it is an art), one is bound to notice the underlying irony in her actions and speech. Her words practically bleed sarcasm. Oh, I pushed you into the gutter? Oh, I slapped you in the face? A giggle follows. My bad, it was an accident. That type of thing.
But her hatred is not without exceptions. ...
ANDMORE.
The girl loves anything she deems beautiful and cute, but the definitions of such adjectives are subjective, differing from person to person. And, in Siren's case, the difference is quite drastic. Things that others find repulsive are beautiful in her eyes. For instance, the violet aura that cloaks every Shadow Pokémon may be seen as appalling by many, but Siren finds it mystifying, even dazzling. Dark- and Ghost-type Pokémon are also particularly appealing to the girl, as she believes them to be the epitome of adorableness. Things that others find fearful are cute to her. And, as you may have guessed, these sentiments extend to things other than Pokémon – to humans, to inanimate objects… and any such person, Pokémon or object gains automatic immunity from her spite. Just as the saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
