September 22ed to October 31st.
Okay, so, we definitely need some new/more Other Areas. Ones that you can RP in just for fun. We had some in the past, but we wanted to redo them--only, we never really got around to it.
So now we come to you and ask, "Why don't you design one, and we'll make it?" Sort of.
The top 3 Other Areas will be created. The Admin team (Jen, Jazz, and I) will be the judges.
You may submit as many entries as you want; we just ask that you keep them in separate posts.
The Prizes •The top 3 Other Areas will be created. •Everyone who participates will get some kind of reward. •The top three will get:
1st Place The overall best idea. -Choice of 1 level oo1 redlist Pok?mon -or non-legendary Pok?mon of choice. -100,000q
2ed Place The most RP-able. -Choice of 1 uncommon to semi-rare Pok?mon, level oo1. -50,000q
3ed Place The most original. -1 level oo1 randomly generated, uncommon Pok?mon. -Will ensure that it is not already owned by the winner. -25,000q
To enter, fill in the following form:
*disclaimer: We are free to use different names, descriptions, and/or images if we see fit. Do not be offended if we do, we're a bit OCD up here.
So start working!
If you don't want to enter but have a couple brief ideas, feel free to post with just those. If someone posts just some ideas like this, feel free to base your fully fleshed-out entry on their ideas, though! (So be aware that if you do post just ideas, someone else can enter them and possibly win, so don't complain!)

Other Area Concept: A place for trainers and Pok?mon to play sports and games
Name of Area: Recreation Park
Description: Several acres of green grass are laid out with no fences and seldom few trees to confine it. All over the park are various fields for different purposes and uses. In one corner there is a baseball diamond and across the way from there is a soccer field, both with their own scoreboards. The one place that isn't dirt or grass is a set of basketball courts in pristine condition, nets still intact and a lack of cracks. The rest of the park is open fields with a few trees, free for trainers to play whatever games they can come up with. Trainers can easily rent equipment from a small shack at the entrance of the park for free, so long as they return it in good condition. Have fun, be fair, and play ball! Entry 1; The Funfair.
Other Area Concept:
The Funfair is a place where trainers can spend time with their Pokémon who need a certain happiness level to evolve. The Funfair, depending on which rides you go on, can boost their happiness and therefore speed up evolution. Rides have certain prices for a go, and these prices must be high in order to stop the Funfair being abused and overused. It shouldn't become a dependency - it should be a small extra to give you a boost. Players should be limited to a certain cash amount per week/fortnight, and the rides must have high price tags. For example, a maximum cash amount of 50k can be spent, and let's say the Ferris Wheel costs 30k. This means the player, after the Ferris Wheel, has 20k left to spend on another ride or stall for that week/fortnight. Rides include the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars/Dodgems, Hit the Coconut, Ring Toss, a Rollercoaster, Carousel, Helter Skelter, Bungee Jumping... everything in a Funfair or Carnival. There can also be food and drink stalls which sells things like fizzy drinks, candyfloss, ice cream, mixed sweets... anything funfair-y! (: Everything is a certain price though. Each ride/stall, depending on the price, would give your Pokémon a certain amount of "Happiness Points". I could easily develop a system/chart of these. Rides would give more Happiness Points that stalls, but with the stalls you might find a food item/berry accidentally in your food/drink. 10 Happiness Points could be the equivalent of one route's worth of happiness. Like I said, devising a simple system would be easy. (:
Name of Area:
Kairuu Fair? Kairuu Karnival? Feel free to name it as you see fit.
Description:
"Boost your Pok?mon's Happiness by treating them to the Kairuu Karnival!" Or something to that effect. I suck at those things. You can make up your own?
Images:
Something like this, with Pokémon and trainers looking happy all around it. (:
