I just have a couple questions and maybe a suggestion that should be quick, but didn't want it to drag on for days in the Cbox.
Trades
Do we have anywhere that members can post for trade requests? Like if you have a Magikarp you don't really want so you can offer it up for other members to trade for. I don't know how many unused Pok?mon people have but I feel it would be worthwhile. It would increase interaction between people and make Pok?mon that are hidden known. You might have something buried, rotting away, that someone really wants.
Water Pok?mon
Specifically Water Pok?mon that aren't capable of walking on land, like Goldeen or Tentacruel. It seems like it would be difficult to not only train them from route to route, but you wouldn't be able to develop their personalities as much. You're forced to only bring them out when you are around water and I know that most of the routes aren't water based (I think one is even a desert). Beside that is the fact that the Gyms and Elite Four aren't all water based. Even if you trained a mighty Gyarados outside of routes you wouldn't be able to use it in a Gym battle that takes place in a forest. Asking what else members can do to incorporate these Pok?mon into their teams and posts because personally I want a Horsea sometime but just don't know how I would use it.
As a possible suggestion for this, creating an original item akin to the Capsules found in Dragon Ball?
One of these could have a pool contained inside of them so that trainers could bring their Water Pok?mon out when there isn't a lake nearby. Depending on what form the water container in the capsule is it could be used in battle? As a rough concept it would definitely need some work and some rules to be put in place for it to work and work fairly. I just want my Horsea!

I really like your suggestions, Knight.
I'm not sure if we have an actual trading venue, but I do know that Alli created an auction house in which you could put up your unwanted Pokémon.
That is different than trading Pokémon for Pok?mon, however. I'm sure it would be possible to set up a thread that's dedicated exclusively to just trading Pokémon with other members. I know for a fact that many of us have accumulated a number of Pokémon that have just sat there. xD
As for your capsule idea, that brings up a very good point. In my opinion I'm pretty certain that it would work, but I think Alli and Jen should have some input on the matter as well. (:

I think I remember setting up some sort of trading venue somewhere, but I'm not positive.
As for water Pok?mon, your point is valid on some parts, but not all. Sure, some water Pok?mon like Magikarp, Goldeen, Seaking, and even a few others don't make much sense out of water, but Pok?mon like Staryu, Poliwag, their evolutions, and others, certainly including the mighty Gyarados, can function quite well out of water.
The Pok?mon show, as I recall, often has characters toss out water Pok?mon. Occasionally they make them do stuff like hovering (like Horsea and its evolutions), and yeah, it doesn't make much sense, but that's how they work.
While I don't think we'd do anything like capsules, we could certainly think up some alternative, hopefully one a bit better than "water Pok?mon can magically float instead of swim". x3

First of all, yes, Alli, you did set up a trading area. Knight, that can be found here, though as of now, unless we change things, member-to-member trades are done via PMs, while evolution-trades use this thread. There's also an Auction House, although I think a setup for trainer-to-trainer trades would also be a good idea, to encourage more interaction between characters.
As for the capsule idea, I agree with you guys that we need some idea to allow Water-types with no land capabilities to battle in areas with no lakes or ponds. While the capsules containing bodies of water could work, it's a tad advanced even for a region like Kairuu.
Some Pokémon, though they're not made for dry land, like Gyarados, Lapras, and certainly Milotic, can hold their own quite well. Gyarados and Milotic for one are serpentine in body shape and I'm sure they can maneuver just as well. Lapras, in-game, is a tank, so it's quite able to take a few hits and use some defensive attack to boost that.
As for the 'floating'. xD Eh. Even games, like Stadium/Colosseum/XD make Pokémon like Goldeen and Horsea hover or swim as if they're in water. In the early days of Kairuu, back when it first came to be, I was so noobish as to actually consider making some form of gravitational force to allow Water-types to float on air.
But, as was already said, making them 'magically able to float' is not gonna fly. I'm already thinking of some possible solutions to this, and most likely it's gonna have to be some invention of Cohen Inc. or somesuch, because Pokémon like Mantine will have no chance whatsoever, even if Goldeen and Remoraid do (since they can still flop about to move, and magically in the anime don't keel over gasping for air like a fish out of water).
Lengthy post. Sorry about that.
